Bow Tie Turquoise Print Silk Scarf from Recycled Sari 56"L x 8"W

This turquoise silk scarf has been made from a recycled Sari. The background of the fabric is a beautiful turquoise shade (greenish) with a motif floral print in black and off-white.. The fabric is very smooth and silky. This scarf has double fabric with all seams inside and measures 56"L" x 8"W. I call this length and width of scarf a short fat scarf, can be tied as a bow tie scarf or in a variety of ways or used on the head, especially if you don't like reams of material to deal with and simplify things:) 

The scarf has been washed, pressed and is ready to wear in a variety of styles. These scarves are made from the best sections of used, mostly vintage, Saris and are limited to just a few of any one type of fabric. I check the fabric thoroughly and holes and tears are avoided, though minor blemishes may remain but not obvious.

To care for your Sari scarf simply wash in mild detergent in cool water, rinse and final rinse with boiled water left to go cold to keep your silk in nice condition, hang to dry. The scarf may be ironed with medium heat. This scarf has been cleaned, both washed and treated with UV light, pressed and is ready to wear. I have been making these scarves for many years.
